I have always been drawn to adventure, creativity, and learning. My journey has taken me across different cultures and disciplines, shaping a unique perspective on life—one that values curiosity, adaptability, and the interconnectedness of human experiences.
I believe that every culture, every language, and every story offers a new way to understand the world. Having lived in multiple countries, I have gained a deep appreciation for how different societies approach life, communication, and creativity. History, to me, is more than just a record of the past; it is a lens through which I understand present realities and imagine the future. Whether through learning a language, playing music, or exploring a new landscape, I embrace new perspectives and seek to connect with people from all walks of life.
Music has always been an important part of my life, and playing the piano and flute in my younger years has given me a deep appreciation for the expressive power of sound. This love for artistic expression also extends into arts and crafts, where I flourish through hands-on projects that combine imagination and skill. Whether painting, sculpting, or creating intricate handmade designs, I enjoy the process of transforming raw materials into something meaningful and personal. Arts and crafts serve as both a creative outlet and a way to connect with different cultures—learning new techniques, experimenting with various styles, and appreciating the craftsmanship behind different artistic traditions. Through my projects, I find joy in both the artistic journey and the satisfaction of bringing an idea to life.
Beyond the arts, I find inspiration and renewal in the outdoors. Swimming and hiking are some of my favorite pastimes, allowing me to stay active while connecting with nature. Whether trekking through rugged landscapes or gliding through the water, I always find joy in movement and exploration.
My curiosity about the world has led me to travel extensively. I spent six months in Beijing, China, as an Au Pair, where I experienced Chinese traditions and daily life firsthand. My academic journey took me to Idaho, USA, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication, refining my ability to understand and connect with others. Later, I spent a year in LuKang, Taiwan, teaching English as a Second Language, sharing my knowledge while immersing myself in the local culture.
My global experiences have deepened my love for history and languages. Studying Japanese and Chinese has not only broadened my linguistic abilities but has also given me a greater appreciation for the cultures I have engaged with. I see history as a vast and intricate narrative, full of lessons that continue to shape the world today.
With a spirit of adventure and a commitment to lifelong learning, I embrace new experiences with enthusiasm, constantly seeking opportunities to grow, create, and connect with the world around me. Every interaction is a chance to learn something new, every journey is an opportunity for insight, and every challenge is a step toward personal growth.
